It’s that time of the summer again, the 4th of July. And you know what that means! Fireworks, backyard BBQs, and beers with friends. But what to do in between? There’s plenty to do at the beach! What better way to celebrate the nation than with a salty sea backdrop. Aside from sunbathing and swimming, there are lots of activities that you can do, whether by yourself, as a group, or a romantic two-person outing. Here are some 4th of July activities for adults and kids that you can do on the beach!

  • Go for a bike ride
  • Have a cookout
  • Fly a kite

Of course there will be fireworks on the Fourth of July. It’s an American tradition to light up the sky with bright colors and loud noises that astound audiences. In fact it might be one of the most traditional 4th of July activities that Americans celebrate. So scope out the best place to watch them with friends and family. Alternatively, if they’re legal in your state you can put on your own light show.
