You can create this wreath as easily as any other, the only notable tips to make it more “New Year’s Eve-y is to use white and gold as your colors of choice. Other than that, the sky's the limit here. 

Oh yeah, using any sort of sparkly thing also works wonders for that shiny New Year vibe! Combine it with good lighting (or maybe even a light string if you’re planning on hanging the wreath on the front door) and it will be an incredible sight to anyone coming to visit.

Of course your New Year’s Eve party needs balloons – every party needs them! But how to make them special for the occasion? It’s the end of the decade, after all...

First, pick your colors wisely. Some golden or silver always goes well to bring elegance to your decor, but there’s another special touch here: the clock balloons. These DIY pieces are fairly easy to make and will add a really cool visual to your celebration!

There’s no big secret here, you can even repurpose a lot of your Christmas decoration for New Year’s Eve. If you’ve adapted them with the usual red and green for Christmas, go for something a little more light and reflective for New Year’s.

Or if your candlesticks are good as is, even better! Just focus on getting some nice candles to really bring your table decoration together.

This idea involves making a “confetti bar where everyone can pick up a confetti pop and keep it with them once midnight rings. Making these is pretty simple too, the confetti can be any sort of neatly cut paper in different colors or can be purchased in stores, just like the push pop containers.

Once you’re all set up, just wait for the midnight bell!

There’s a difference between paper lanterns and paper balls, but we’ve decided to go with both for this category.

Paper balls can be purchased in different colors and are super easy to set up. Lightweight, compact, and beautiful to look at, it’s always a nice addition. 

But you can also go for paper lanterns. They can be adapted into your decoration with the use of properly placed LED lights, light strings, or just your home’s natural lighting setup. Regardless, they look incredible with a finished look and make for an awesome project.

OK, we’ve waited long enough… the disco ball was bound to make an appearance.
