St. Patrick’s Day is a holiday known for its big celebrations and cheerful decorations, and there’s no denying it: people love the 17th of March! These DIYs are a great option to keep you involved and relaxed - best thing is: you can even do them last-minute! So, if you’ll have a busy week, there’s no need to feel overwhelmed, because you’ll be able to handle making whatever DIY decor you choose from this list at the last second.

“I try to be grateful for the abundance of the blessings that I have, for the journey that I'm on and to relish each day as a gift.” - James McGreevey

To kick start this list, how about this cute coaster? It’s perfect for a family & friends gathering on St. Paddy’s Day and super simple to make! All you need to do is print the template, and glue it with spray adhesive onto cardstock - remember to trim the edges afterwards too.

Another printable craft that’s easy to make! Though you can also choose to make the drawing yourself on cardstock paper since it’s a really easy one.

Or even:

Make your own shamrocks out of tissue paper and attach them to a piece of straw to stick into the cupcake!

Luck of the Irish

This St. Patrick’s Day welcome basket fills its purpose: it’s very welcoming! When you look at it, you just know there’s something amazing waiting for you on the other side of the door. All you need to do is fill a basket with shamrocks (that you can also DIY at home), and then cut your message out of felt and stick it on the basket.

Holiday Wreath

I’m known around here to love wreaths - such as these spring wreaths that are simply gorgeous! Surely enough, there was going to be a special St. Patrick’s Day wreath here as well. And doesn’t it look super festive? It’s a simple craft that you could change the clovers for other flowers later on and keep using it for spring.

An exceptional St. Patty’s drink deserves a special St. Patty’s cup to go with it, right? You’ll start this with:

You can choose the best way to complete this craft according to what you already have at home; there are the options to either to glue or simply tape the ribbons. As well as making the ribbon part with just insulating tape (because, you know, they’re black).

One more thing:

The stickers are indeed for extra glamour, but you can also go with something simpler, like a piece of felt paper.

Clover Art

This clover art trio is great to keep even after the holiday is gone! It could also work as a gift, whether for a birthday coming up around the holiday or if you’re attending a St. Patrick’s Day party at a friend’s house - it’s always nice to bring something for the host.

To make this craft you’ll need:

  • Green fabric scraps
  • Burlap
  • Three frames
  • Green felt
  • Scissors
  • Glue and superglue

Easy Garland

Some of the easiest and most common decorations for holidays are garlands! Whichever holiday you can think about, there will be a DIY garland of some kind. St. Patrick’s Day wouldn’t be any different. There are many options available, but this one is one of my favorites! It’s simple to make and super festive, a great combo to have!

Confetti Poppers

These look like super cute candy wraps, but they’re actually confetti poppers - which, personally, I think it’s way cooler! They’re easy to put together and will make a fun celebration for everyone.

And, of course:

It’s the perfect DIY if you’re having kids over on this day, or even to make for your kids to take to school and have fun with their friends.

Potted Clover

A potted clover is nice to make a classy decoration for your home, even after St Patrick’s Day is over. The one from the photo above is actually a set of clovers taken from the garden, while the photo below is made with crepe paper. Both are really easy to create and will make a gorgeous decor addition to your party.
