We are all fans of LEGO, from our childhood to adulthood, and we still think they’re fun, cool and such interesting pieces. So what if we decorated our homes with them? It would definitely bring life to the room and make everything more fun and colorful. Here are some different and amazing ideas to use them around the house!
Starting Big: Playable LEGO Wall
Design a dream-like bedroom or playspace for the kids with this amazing idea. You can install LEGO boards on the entire wall or on a specific space. They can spend hours and hours playing with it and it will even make the space tidier, reducing the chances of the terrible LEGO stepping, by teaching them to always put the LEGO bricks back in place, on the wall, before leaving. Here’s a cool DIY.
LEGO Kitchen Wall
LEGO walls don’t need to be for the kids only. You can change the look of your house by choosing a wall to make a mural! It can be an entrance wall like the one from the picture or even the kitchen island. Make different designs choosing certain colors or just go crazy and mix them all. It looks fabulous!
LEGO Name Wall Art
Make an interesting name wall art out of LEGO bricks to decorate the kid's bedroom or make smaller letters to design an inspiring phrase for the living room. The possibilities are endless!
DIY LEGO Lamp
Grab a glue gun, LEGO bricks, a simple lamp and go crazy. This is a very fun project to do, especially if you have children to help you choose the best pieces and how to put them together. The result is simply awesome!
Interesting Flatware Storage
Adding LEGO bricks to your kitchen is a simple and yet fascinating idea. Make small silverware holders for knives and forks or make tall ones for those long cooking utensils. It’s also a great way to display the plastic cutlery for parties!
Napkin Holder or Book Stopper
Another way to bring LEGO pieces into your kitchen is making this fun napkin holder. It’s especially cool for pizza nights or for when the friends come over. You can also use the same idea to make book stoppers for your bookshelf. It’s fun and practical!
Cool LEGO Cake Holder
Why spend hard earned money on those expensive cake holders when you can make a really cheap and amazing one out of LEGO pieces? You can also use them to build an awesome DIY LEGO table.
Stunning Picture Frame
You can make an entirely new picture frame from scratch, just using LEGO bricks. You can make singles or multiple ones: whatever fits your space. It brings an extra feeling of fun and nostalgia to the photo.
Different Pens and Pencils Holder
This uses the same idea as the cutlery storage, but you can use it on your workspace to bring a bit more color and make the day more fun. Add a photo to it and it’ll bring you a smile every time you see it!
Make a 3D Art Piece
Is there a more exciting project to do? Just grab the LEGO pieces and start building what you’re in the mood for, then you can display it on the wall or on a table in the living room.
Fun Soap Dispensers
To encourage the kids to wash their hands regularly and make the bathroom a little less serious, add a few LEGO blocks inside a clear soap dispenser. Washing our hands has never been this fun!
Instant Stop-Crying Tissue Box
Make this interesting tissue box out of LEGO bricks and bring a smile to every person who’ll use it. It’s also very practical in the nursery near the diaper change station!
I already have a couple pen holders here with me and the cake holder will be my next project.
