Fall is the season to get cozy, just after all the summer thrill of going to camps, to the beach, and having lots of barbecues, and right before curling up in bed to hibernate for winter. So, here are five ideas to make your home look real cozy and give you the best this season has to offer!

Faux Fur
Faux fur is a great way to be stylish without actually harming any animals. It’s equally beautiful and will make it really nice to get home and curl up in bed with that warm faux fur blanket. There are lots of options to add faux fur in your home, such as blankets, or pillows.
Warm Colors
Fall has a color palette that’s very warm and welcoming. Plus, it has a unique type of nature that other seasons just can’t match. You’ll want to stick to:
- Red
- Yellow
- Orange
- Pink
- Magenta
- Blue
- Brown
You can also mix it up with black, purple, and green. Your home will look gorgeous with this palette!
Give the Fireplace Some Attention
Yeah, I couldn’t get through a fall list without mentioning the fireplace. If you haven't gotten it inspected and cleaned already, make sure to do that, and then make your living room look awesome by adding some wood stacks or logs there.
A chimney cleaning service costs about $330 in East Providence, RI and in average $295 in Fargo, ND. For a more accurate estimate, call a local professional!
Fall Scents
One of my favorite activities ever is baking apple pies with cinnamon during fall. It’s just so delicious and fills the house with that wonderful scent for a couple of hours. Of course, there are other options to add fall scents to your home, such as orange, lemon, pine, vanilla, and pumpkin spice. One weekend at a time, you can find out what your favorite is!
Add a Patterned Rug
Rugs are the perfect option to add a bit of pizzazz to any room, any time of the year. For this season, you can go with pastel tones within the color palette we’ve talked about earlier, but sticking to a patterned look. That’ll give your home a gorgeous and cozy focal point!
