Just because we’re past Easter, that doesn’t mean you can’t still use DIY eggs in your spring decor. After all, there are many decorated egg crafts that aren’t Easter themed! Here you’ll find nine of these ideas that will make your home perfect for the season - plus you’ll have lots of fun making them!

Doodling is one of my favorite hobbies ever, so I felt like I had to start this list with these awesome doodle eggs! They’re really easy to make - you only need a black Sharpie or, if you’re feeling extra creative, some colorful Sharpies.

Wrapped Eggs

These eggs are perfect for a lovely centerpiece bowl! They’re really fun to make and look like each egg will have the most incredible surprise once you unwrap it (but that part we’ll leave to your imagination). All you need to make them is:

  • Colored tissue paper
  • Mod Podge glue
  • Water balloons
  • Colored ribbon
  • Pie plate
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • Wire cooling rack

Golden Confetti

If you like decorations that make a statement, this is your pick! The golden confetti makes it really cheerful while still keeping it classy, which is the perfect combo for a friends and family gathering, don’t you think? With just some craft paint, brushes, glue, and confetti you can put this together!

Paper Napkin

Let’s start out with the supplies list:

  • Hard-boiled eggs
  • Patterned paper napkins
  • Mod Podge glue
  • Paintbrush

Seems pretty easy, right? And it really is! Once you have all of these at hand, paint a layer of glue onto the egg, place a piece of the napkin on it, and ta-da, it’s done.

Galaxy Glitter

Galaxy designs are pretty incredible, especially when you’re the one creating them. These galaxy eggs aren’t any different! They scream glamour and will make a beautiful statement in your decor. I can imagine these in a fancy bowl right on an entryway table, or even as a table centerpiece!

Alternative Egg

This is an option if you don’t like working with real eggs. It’s made basically with paper, and it has the added bonus of standing up on its own. I actually thought they’d be super boring to make, cause you need to fold a lot, but I ended up having lots of fun when I tried it at home. And that’s why they’re on the list. I hope you enjoy them too!

String Eggs

String eggs can either go in a bowl, a centerpiece jar, or - as the photo above shows - they can be hung around the house. Any of these options is guaranteed to be a beautiful spring decor addition to your home, so make them and be creative!

Bunny Eggs

I know what you’re thinking, “how come there’s a bunny here if we’re talking about post-Easter decor?” Well, come on, look at that cutie! It deserved to be on the list too. This is the option if you want to stay in the Easter vibes! More than that: they’re great to craft with the kids!

I think these are really cute and I totally fell in love at first sight! Eggs, coloring kit, and markers are the only things you need to prepare these cuties.
