Every year I see these mini tree ornaments to decorate the big, main tree and I keep thinking “inception much?”. But I simply can’t help adding them there, these DIY Christmas ornaments too cute to let it pass unnoticed.

They’re so easy to put together you wouldn’t believe! All you need are:

  • Cardboard pieces
  • Scissors
  • White glue

These cute reindeers can be made either with toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls, save them both to create a whole family of reindeers!

  1. You’ll start by cutting the arches to make the reindeer’s legs;
  2. Then use a piece of cardboard to make the head + antlers.
  3. Use one of the leftover arches to make the reindeer’s tail.
  4. Paint everything accordingly and make details with a black marker;
  5. Assemble the reindeer with a hot glue gun!

Tip: antlers can also be made with a small piece of pipe cleaner!

There’s nothing like getting up on Christmas day and sitting by the tree with the kids to tell some stories and open some gifts, right? As long as we’re talking about gifts, what do you think about these adorable DIY gift ornaments to hang on the tree?

They’re really easy to make!

You only need some empty matchboxes and you can get creative with the decor. You can use paint, leftover fabrics, leftover scrapbook paper, gift wrapping paper, ribbons…have fun with it!

You can use Mason Jars for so many crafts, and some of them don’t require the lid to be a part of it. So, if you have some lids lying around, this Christmas ornament idea will be perfect for you to create a more festive look in your home.

There are several options of scrapbook paper that already have the Christmas theme going on.

However,

You don’t need to get those specifically for this purpose, you can also use colored scrapbook paper and cut out Christmas elements (such as reindeers, santa, stars, snowman, etc.) out of cardboard pieces. And then assemble them together with a bit of hot glue.
